1880s Rose Cross Appliqué Quilt

$320.00
sold out

Very eye catching pattern with its turkey red and cornflower yellow cotton flowers.
This quilt is perfect for the summer months and wonderfully soft. Has cotton seed batting and came originally from Pennsylvania.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted with hand stitched appliqué

Weight: light summer weight

Measurements laid flat: 65” x 74”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Slight wear to some of the stem and leaf appliqué patchwork. These pieces were originally green and have since faded to this natural off-white which is typical for quilts of this age. A few small spots of discoloration here and there on front and back. Original binding is in great shape.
Also has a small patch on one stem covering some green marker from the former owner that wouldn’t come out in the wash!

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
