1880s Reversible Summer Quilt
With gorgeous calicos dating back to as early as the 1860s-1870s, this quilt is not technically quilted, as it was two tops put together and bound at the edges for a summer quilt!
Extra light and airy, it’s a perfect one for display, or thoughtful and mindful use.
Besides— with its reversibility, it’s like getting two quilts in one!

How it’s made: Hand pieced
Weight: Light
Measurements laid flat: 59” x 59”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

Beautiful condition, some various discoloration throughout, but structurally sound and lovely.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
