1880s Neutral Tree of Life Quilt

$578.00

Fun fact— the tan cotton actually used to be green once upon a time but has since faded to this incredible neutral color way
in this 1880s Tree of Life quilt.
Captivating sawtooth border, and amazing incredibly intricate feather quilting and hand stitched binding.
A very special piece for a true collector.

Found in North Carolina, but the previous owner purchased from a Virginia estate.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: Machine pieced, hand quilted

Weight: Medium

Measurements laid flat: 72” x 68”

If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

C O N D I T I O N
Faint discoloration throughout, concentrated on the right side. One spot where the piecework has separated, but you have to hunt for it. A beautiful and usable sturdy quilt.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
