This quilt has some of the loveliest calicos we’ve ever seen in it, much of them date much earlier than the 1880s. A true work of art with a variety of beautiful vignettes to look at. Hang on your wall or use on a bed! It would suit either. That border is stunning in and of itself!

C O N D I T I O N
Fabric loss throughout various piecework, with loose threads throughout and wear to bound edge. Faint discoloration spots throughout, and back has some general toning. In usable and lovely condition!
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
