1870s Turkey Red French Day Bed Cover
The most charming original period mend with the same fabric is what really has our hearts on this piece. But overall, we really can’t say no to most floral prints from the mid 1800s.
Especially when they are French…
With a ruffle on two sides, this would have been used as a day bed cover, but the size makes for a great accent piece at the end of the bed, or perhaps even a curtain.
Fabrics like this are not readily come by, this one is really special.

This piece has signs of use, patches, little holes scattered about, aged ground, pale marks etc. But overall sound and usable.
