1870s Streak of Lightning Quilt

$420.00

Another one from our personal collection (can you tell we are really drawn to the simple two-tone beauties with striking patterns??). This sweet quilt is hand quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch. With lovely walnut calicos that have charming patterns on them, a rare neutral quilt for your collection.

Wear to binding, small brown discolorations throughout, some fading to darker brown fabric, spots of fabric wear throughout, and one silver dollar sized hole on the back that doesn’t go all the way through.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
