This 1870's quilt is an absolutely remarkable and stunning work of art that is truthfully museum worthy.
With gorgeous calicos, deep rich colored cottons and perfectly pieced sawtooth border with expertly hand stitched binding. It has a whole cloth brown calico backing. There is hand quilting around the perimeter of each piece and in straight line designs in the background, all at an even 8-9 stitches to the inch.
A true collectors piece.
