1870s Appliqué Carolina Medallion Quilt

$510.00
sold out

This appliqué beauty is a variation on the Snowflake pattern and Carolina Medallion.
This is a very special pattern that we have never come across before and can’t find any similar traces of in our research about it.
Would be best used folded as an accent piece on the end of your bed or as a striking visual to hang on your wall. The vegetable dyed green cottons and turkey red contrast wonderfully against an off white background. This quilt has more wear than we typically would list online however its beauty withstands the test of time and we are truly in awe of its uniqueness.

Noticeable signs of wear to all of the edges and backing. Discoloration throughout and some small spots of wear all the way through the quilt.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
