1860s Tulip Appliqué Quilt
For the love of floral quilts (you all know they are amongst our personal favorites…)
Also in a rare larger size!
Comprised of 42 blocks, 13 x 13 inches, set straight, 6 by 7, with a 5 inch white border with an appliquéd undulating vine and flower buds along 3 sides. The corner of each block has an appliqué crescent shape that creates a secondary Reel design. There is thin cotton batting and off white cotton reverse. The edge is finished knife edge style, by machine.

C O N D I T I O N
In fair condition with several small spots and the Turkey red print is starting to pop. Very usable and a lovely edition to your collection.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
