1860s The Love Rose Quilt

This is a pattern we have never come across before and it’s definitely one of our favorites in this collection.
Fun tri-color striped border, with cross divided center border scalloped quilting. Very vibrant acid green and petal pink cotton. Definitely the perfect summer quilt for your collection!

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

Weight: light summer weight

Measurements laid flat: 77” x 77”

C O N D I T I O N
Slight wear to all edges and slight wear to some of the pink patchwork. A few small spots of grey stains and cream discoloration. One spot of exposed batting on the back that doesn’t go through to the patchwork on front and discoloration to the back that also does not translate to the front.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
