1860s Cherry Kimball Appliqué Quilt

$460.00
sold out

This 1860s cherry kimball appliqué quilt is such a stunning work of art. Many of you know that appliqué quilts are some of our favorites around here. The incredible hand stitched details are so mesmerizing.
Found in a small town in Pennsylvania earlier this Spring, this one feels like the perfect salutation to the summer ahead.

D E T A I L S
Machine pieced with hand stitched appliqué and beautiful hand stitched floral quilting. Original mends.

A nice lighter weight quilt for the transition in seasons.

Measurements laid flat:
79.5” x 80”

C O N D I T I O N
Some bleach marks on the teal bound edges with additional various spots of discoloration throughout. Wear on all edges and on some of the pink floral appliqué pieces.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
