1860s Grandmother's Pride Quilt

$405.00
sold out

With beautiful deep indigo calico sashes surrounding the blocks of this quilt, it has a variety of fabrics pre dating 1860s. A remarkable collectors piece as well as fabric study. Sure to bring a grounding presence to any room you place it in.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

Weight: light summer weight

Measurements laid flat: 73” x 86”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
In beautiful condition with wear that is relevant for its age. Exposed batting in a handful of the blocks. Very slight wear to three of the four corner edges and edge binding. Discoloration throughout on the back due to fabrics used on the front and previous storage. No holes or tears that go all the way through. This quilt has many, many more moons to come.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
