Some spots where someone possibly tried to spot treat improperly, leaving lightening/fading in its place. Several spots of discoloration across the back of the quilt. A few areas of exposed batting across one edge. It appears the edges have been cut off and then a newer tan binding was sewn in a rudimentary manner, over the edges. Overall a sturdy quilt, that would look especially wonderful hung.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
