1850s Eight Pointed Star Quilt

$138.00
sold out

Part of a once-larger quilt that was altered sometime in the 1930s into a smaller chambray-bound textile. We wish we’d come across this quilt in its original state, but this sweet little piece is heartbreakingly charming nonetheless. Hang on your wall, use in a tablescape, or just place over your couch for a centerpiece of beauty.

General wear, fabric loss, and discoloration to front. One very small hole that goes fully through the fabric located near the bound edge. General but lesser discoloration to the back.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
