1850s Cockscomb Applique Quilt
While this quilt has certainly seen some life, it is still a beautiful work of art. A much older quilt than we typically have the privilege of coming across, it has gorgeous appliqué work and lovely older calicos throughout.
Our favorite detail? The heart quilting.
Would look lovely hung on a wall or used as part of a tablescape or as the backdrop for a photo session.

C O N D I T I O N
Well-worn, with discoloration, fabric loss, and bits of detached applique throughout. A few quarter-sized and smaller holes, with general toning and discoloration to the back and wear around the edges.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
