Overall discoloration from age throughout, some of the calicos in the blocks have loss from the dye process used at the time that doesn’t age well, fraying on some edges, some small holes that go all the way through, but overall a very sweet quilt.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
