A very beautiful signature quilt with gorgeous calicos that present in a very pleasing overall neutral palette.
Some really wonderful names throughout this one, dated predominantly in 1849.
There is one calico that we think is printed in kidney beans! Which were considered a sign of luck at the time.

C O N D I T I O N
Overall discoloration, some tearing and wear at some of the older calicos due largely to the dye process that was used on them. Presents beautifully overall and would work beautifully on a bed with care, or look magnificent on a wall.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
