We have an important announcement for 2027.
We will not be having open houses or shop appointments in the new year.
The in-person experience of Folkling, at Folkling House, will be PAUSED for the duration of 2027, starting January 1st.

Our online shop will continue as normal.

To be clear:
This is not the end of a physical iteration of Folkling.
Just a P A U S E.
We are making this temporary shift so that we can focus on some other long-held dreams.
Sometimes, you have to put one thing down for a time, in order to pick something else up.
This decision was not made lightly.
It is the in the creating of real-life spaces for others to visit and experience that we find so much joy.
We love meeting so many of you, whether from across the street, or across the world. Indeed, so many indelible friendships have been formed as a result of our having a physical brick & mortar.
It is this type of world, one that fosters the real, the tangible, the analog, that we want to continue to help create.
And though this shift may seem counter to those ideals, the reality of us needing to continue to support our family with this business and create a sustainable day-to-day for both our personal and work lives meant that we had to make some hard decisions.
Many of you won’t notice much in the way of this pause. Many of you support us routinely through our website.
And that means the world to us.
Having you as our regular customers, our virtual community, despite never having met face-to-face, is such a heartwarming and positive aspect of this platform.
But to those of you who will notice— we will miss you in this space of ours.
It is hard to make this decision in light of the experiences that we’ve gotten to share with you, in person, these last six years.
Whether it’s your first time, or your monthly routine— If you want to come out to experience Folkling before this pause, you have a few opportunities to do so.
Namely our last big open houses for the year on—
NOVEMBER 14th

DECEMBER 5th
(And some possible-hopeful intermittent weekday holiday shopping hours later in December—TBA!)
As always, thank you for supporting us, supporting this dream, we look forward to continue bringing you the storied, meaningful and beautiful tangibility we see in this world, now, and in the new year.
